In the Chambal you will see how the  Gharial is now making a remarkable comeback as is the Gangetic Dolphin which has struggled against  habitat degradation and pollution. Meet the people behind the awareness campaigns have helped restore their habitats and improved the water quality, contributing to the recovery of their population. Another significant success story in the Chambal region is the Indian Skimmer, a charismatic bird species. Here measures have been made to target the protection of their breeding sites which has led to a positive impact on their population.

Heading out to the Terai Forests you’ll see the Greater One-Horned Rhino, once on the brink of extinction have seen a significant increase in their numbers due to strict anti-poaching measures, habitat preservation, and community involvement.
