October: Tigers and more, Highlands of Central India

The parks of central India are the beating heart not just of Madhya Pradesh, but also India, it is known for being the tiger state of India and this journey takes you on a wonderful journey to explore two of its parks, Kanha and Pench.  First head to Kanha National Park, with dense forests and grasslands it is famous for its majestic Royal Bengal Tigers but also for its population of Barasingha, also known as the Hard Ground Swamp Deer. Continuing your journey, visit Pench National Park. While tigers take the spotlight here, keep your eyes peeled for the dhole, also known as the Indian wild dog, highly social and intelligent predators, they are often seen in packs as they hunt and communicate with remarkable efficiency. Witnessing their coordinated hunting strategies and observing their unique behaviours is an extraordinary encounter. Throughout your journey, local naturalists and guides will accompany you, sharing their expertise and knowledge about the flora and fauna of these national parks. Remember to respect the animals’ habitats and maintain a safe distance while observing them in their natural environment.

Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

Day 2: Fly to Raipur | Transfer to Kanha Tiger Reserve

Day 3 – 5: Explore Kanha Tiger Reserve

Day 6 – 8: Explore Pench Tiger Reserve

Day 9 – 12: Explore Satpura Tiger Reserve

Day 13: Fly back to Delhi from Bhopal
